So sorry to do this at the last minute, but I suddenly came down with a cold that has gotten progressively worse, and I don't feel right about sharing food that is not entirely cooked (my tiramisu) and eating shared meals with folks lest they catch my cooties. Hopefully the waiting list folks see this and can bang out a tasty treat before 5 tomorrow...if not, big, big apologies from me. I hope to see you all at the next one, and if this tiramisu turns out as tasty as the picture looks, I'll bring it then instead! A fresh one, that is.

thanks melissa, it was fun, as usual, and dinner was delicious. it was great meeting mmmdonuts, a recent addition to lthforum. i'm including a link to the olive oil/orange cake recipe i made as someone asked for it. the changes i made were: 9" cake pan, not 10"; double the amount of orange juice in the glaze; and i baked it an extra 10 minutes.
