    Hi,
Question: Does anyone have any info on any current and/or upcoming Patrick Chabert dinners? Are these still going? Any current info would be great.
    thanks.

Do a search for one of his dinner posts. His cellphone is on there. Why not call and report back to us?

The restaurant where Patrick is currently sharing kitchen space does not lend itself to the kinds of dinners we used to have when he was at Berutti's. He is doing catering and occasionally being guest chef. That said, I've talked to him, and if we have a venue, he'll make the food. A few friends and I have even talked to him about spending the day cooking with him and then enjoying the food -- but that requires a place with a big kitchen and a fair bit of dining space. So a few options -- you just need a place to have the party.

Oh -- and if you're in Rolling Meadows, the place he's currently sharing a kitchen is Hungry? -- a dandy casual restaurant (I think that's what they call them -- decent food, stand in line at a counter, but they bring it to your table) run by another Le Français veteran.

D&J Bistro in Lake Zurich is lending Patrick their back room for a dinner. It's limited to 50 people, as it's not a large room. Still the same $75, cash or check.

Anyone interested in getting a group together?

    The note from Patrick:

The event will be on Sunday, February 20th. Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm. The price will remain the same, $75 per person, all inclusive. Wine will be provided during the courses.
D & J has a cash bar for those wishing to have a cocktail, glass of wine or a glass of champagne prior to dinner.
We can accommodate only 50 guests for the dinner. Reservations are to be made thru me (not to D & J Bistro) by calling me on my cell at 312 215-4688 or e-mailing me at p.chabert@comcast.net.
Check or cash is acceptable. Please make check payable to Patrick Chabert, Inc. (not D & J Bistro).

I just got the notice that Patrick will be leading a tour through Basque Country next June. Anyone interested in seeing the itinerary?

Will it be a culinary tour specifically. If so, yes.
