Normally I'm not this needy and I could research on my own, but I'm swamped with work and need the great LTH bail out that's never failed me.

I've been assigned the duty of picking a place for a double date, afterwards we're meeting up for a night of beers and bowling at Diversey rock n bowl.

I've got a non-meat eater with us (eats sea food) and that's really the only stipulation.

Dinner around 7 pm. Initially thinking Urban Belly but I don't know what it's like on Friday night.

    Suggestions requested. Thanks guys

    Dave

Fat Willy's is two blocks away and they do have a bunch of non-meat options available.

Lula, Longman and Eagle, and Ciao Napoli pizza are all tasty options very nearby, just down Logan Blvd from where the Bowl sits at the intersection of Logan and Diversey.

Agreed. A bit further west is GNR The Brown Sack.

New, very date appropriate and ever closer - Owen and Engine, same owners as Fat Willy's but much more of a date spot than FW's.

I've really enjoyed Revolution Brewing in Logan Square the couple of times I've been--very diverse menu. Also, the Bristol at Damen and Webster is close enough to be considered "in the neighborhood" I think.
