Hello LTH friends,
I wanted to let you all know that we are throwing a party at The Southern on Saturday, November 20, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
We are very honored to have my good friend and former line mate at Blackbird, Old Town Social Executive Chef Jared Van Camp, roasting one of the pigs with us! As you all know Jared is a master of all things pork related and he will be cooking some seasonal, family-style sides to go with his pig preparation. This is going to be a throw down of epic proportions!
The party starts at 1 p.m., and we hope to have the piggies done by 3 for a good, old-fashioned family style dinner. Steve Dolinsky is loaning us his roasting boxes and we will be serving Shiner Bock on draft. The cost of the event is $30 and this includes all the beer you can guzzle and all the pork you can stuff yourself with.
You can call and make a reservation or feel free to walk in at your leisure. We can't promise there will be a lot of food left at 6 though!
