The awning proclaimed a great turkey burger and "home of the bbqd turkey ribs" What in tarnation are they talking about? Has anyone had the "Just Turkey" experience? I tried to Google and found references to multiple locations but no website (not surprised by that). Love to hear some 1st hand comments.
I believe the Just Turkey on 127th is the original. It was called Jive Turkey in its early days but apparently that name was taken already. I stopped at the one on Stony Island six months ago, not long after it opened. I was going to try the turkey ribs but for some reason decided against it (maybe they only come pre-sauced?).

The turkey burger (whole wheat bun only!) I had instead was decent but I prefer the bigger, tastier, cheaper version from
That's-A-Burger. I was amused to see what appeared to be a photocopy of a Dolinsky headshot (inscribed to Jive Turkey) hanging on the wall of the Stony shop.
I don't recall exactly what they told me turkey ribs are (they're not ribs) but it seems
Kuck Farms in Georgia markets Turkey Ribs, "patent-protected pre-cooked cuts of whole white meat turkey on bone."
