I agree: this was the best episode of the bunch. Perhaps the judges had clear favorites, but the editing was subtle enough that I hadn't a clue before the announcement. At one point, I thought that Danielle could pull a major upset, it was certainly her best-looking food of the series.

I actually really enjoyed watching Claudia Fleming, Sherry Yard and Elizabeth Falkner. From comparing the chefs of Top Chef with the pastry Chefs of Just Desserts -- there really does seem to be personality differences between the two disciplines and these three women looked like a lot of fun to hang out with. And of course, eat with!

And of course, Claudia Fleming working with Morgan was rather priceless. The looks she gave him -- it's always nice to see a self-important ass be brought down to Earth.

I enjoyed looking at the desserts, the techniques, and Gail, but those cheftestents...bloody awful.
