Has any one found Sauce Arturo in stores in the Chicagoland area, preferably far NW?

The stuff is supposed to make a great brisket. It's from the NY area. I can order it on line, but I don't want a case and the shipping is almost as much as the sauce. So I'm looking for a local supply.

    HI,

I wasn't sure what this may be, though a quick internet search located a recipe: http://gozonian.org/recipe/homeArturo.shtml

    1/4 cups finely chopped mushrooms
    1/4 cups water
    1/4 cups tomato sauce
    1/4 cups soy sauce
    1/4 cups cider vinegar
    1 tbs. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
1 large clove garlic finely chopped
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    Pinch of ginger
    Pinch nutmeg

Simmer these ingredients until bubbles begin to form. Yield is one cup equivalent to 8 ounce can.

I have no experience with Sauce Arturo to know if this replicates the original faithfully or not.

    Regards,

My quick search found the same recipe. But the contents label on the can doesn't list any soy sauce or brown sugar, and has crushed tomato rather than tomato sauce.

I'd like to try and find the real thing...
