We're having our annual holiday party for about 25 people and are looking for somewhere where we could pick up a prepared entree of meat. For reference, last year we took a turkey to Sun Wah and I made spareribs as well. It turned out great and was a hit with everyone. The year before we did a turducken which was also well received. I'm at a loss for this year. We like to have something unique that most people wouldn't normally have.
We were driving down Milwaukee yesterday and saw that Nick's Meat Market (just north of Montrose) offers smoked meats. From my quick drive by, it seemed like they would smoke anything we took in. Has anyone doe this there or anywhere else for that matter? Any suggestions for what kind of meat to take? Would we season it before we took said meat?

Any other suggestions would also be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

No info on getting your meat smoked for you, BUT, for picking up "prepared meat" / "We like to have something unique that most people wouldn't normally have."

Jerk Chicken? - Trays are surely avail at any of the many Jerk joints - pick yer fave.

Indian kababs, botis, or gravy dishes? - again, most Ind joints have a catering section on their menu.

Tip / link trays? E. 69th street, baby! From personal exp ordering trays, Mack will hook you up!

Thai fried chicken do anything for you?

    Just some quick thoughts.
We cannot be friends if you do not know the difference between Mayo and Miracle Whip.

Whole roast lechon or crispy pata from Uni-Mart?

The two Lalich Delis do Serbian roast lambs, goats and pigs.
