Does anyone know where I can purchase lamb merguez?

I'd like to buy six pounds tomorrow (12/11) morning.

    Thanks.

I've gotten it at Paulina Market from the freezer case but it's pretty pricey. They may have it at Gene's at the Lincoln Square and/or Milwaulkee ave location as well--I would call them

If they don't have Merguez, you can find the similarly delicious, aggresively spiced and pleasantly fatty, fresh Lebanese style sausage Meqaniq at Sahar II on Kezie.

I've seen them at the big Whole Foods in Lincoln Park, but I'm not sure if they always carry it.

Probably too late for you to make, but I've used this recipe several times to rave reviews:

It's usually in stock at Fresh Farms in Niles.

They make lamb merguez most weeks at Homestead Meats in Evanston. If you call ahead, they may be able to make larger quantities, if that's what you need.

Yes - it's almost always in the shop. I'm pretty sure I've seen it at Publican Quality Meats, too.
