I am seeing $1.39/lb. in the SW burbs - Haven't checked elsewhere yet.

Might make sense for a stop if you're buying a bunch of it, and you're within reasonable distance. Versus 1.39/lb, at Pete's price, you'll be getting 1lb free for every 2.5 lbs you buy. How I wish Cermak Produce had an online weekly ad. My BF's mom is Mexican and always serves tamales from Taco Mex in south Chicago--along with a ham and various other dishes. so not a focal point per se (although they are for me b/c the rest of the meal is pretty blah
)
