    Let's ring in the new year with the resurrection of the Loop Lunch Group.

    Come join us for scotch eggs, poutine and gourmet sandwiches at the Gage. Friday, January 14 at 12:00PM.

    That is actually the one day in two weeks that I can almost certainly be there, and it is two blocks from my office. Count me in, barring unfortunate scheduling snafus.

    Right now we're at 12. I made the reservation at the Gage for 12 so I'll cap it at that for now. If you're interested please sign up for the waiting list. There are almost always cancellations.

    Agreed. I could also try Henri at some point. Lunch is so hard sometimes.

    Thanks, turkob, for planning a very nice loop lunch. It was a fun crowd and The Gage delivered the same upbeat, professional service I'm used to getting there. I often like but rarely love the food at The Gage, but it's still a fun place that's better than it probably has to be.
