Anyone try this? Its supposed to be carried at Whole Foods and is marketed as an "adult" all natural non alchoholic soda. I have missed this. Always looking for new non alcholic drinks and would like some reviews. If not I'll look for it at WF and post about it after my next trip.

I picked up several bottles of Cascal when I was at whole foods. One red with notes of blackcurrant and one white with notes of pear.

Cascal is a fruity fizzy non alcoholic drink that has no taste of any sugar so it does not come off as a "soda pop" like the San Pelligrino orange or lemon which have much more sugar. It has a faint winey taste to it as it is fermented and is about 20 percent fruit juice. Its very refreshing to me because I don't like sweet drinks and I mostly drink water, tea or coffee and like to find something for variety that does not have many calories or sugar. I'd say its not for everyone. If you like drinks that are not sweet and have some fizz it might be worth it. Its supposed to be all natural so it differs from flavored waters which I think many are made with artificial flavorings.

I really like Cascal. Would love to try the honey/malt and cherry/chocolate/rose flavors but haven't seen them around. Very refreshing and smooth soda with relatively little sweetness and even the right sodium / mineral balance I like with harder stuff.

I agree. Its very refreshing without being sweet. I think it would be a good fizzy mixer with something. I bet it would make a good wine cooler or an add to Sangria.
