Place has been open since July 2010, have not been there yet.

Has a little info on the place in the read > http://www.southlandsavvy.com/2010/09/catering-business-leads-to-bbq.html < Cool web site for some south suburbs eats and stuff.
Web site at the bottom of the article has seemed to change.

The correct one is listed below. I will have to get out there next week with camera in hand.

I would reccomend a call first. I live down the road from there and I have driven by two or three times and found them closed. They operate out of a storefront that looks llike a catering kitchen. I did not see any seating in there. I'll try again this week.

I went in again today. They are now open til 7 pm. I had a brisket sandwich. The woman who made it may have been a smoker at some point in her life. That is as close as smoke ever got to this brisket. I asked for sauce on the side and got a very dry bland sandwich on a supermarket roll. The sandwich comes with fries or slaw or mac and cheese for $8-9. I did not want a side but still was charged the full amount. The people there are friendly enough and the sides may be worthwhile but the meat was dry with not even a hint of smoke flavor. If I wasn't so cheap, I would have tossed the sandwich. I rarely finish lunch and think, "Wow I should have gone to White Castle instead." I will chalk this up to taking one for the team.

Atomicman, thank you for taking one for the team! I was suspicious that there is no stack of wood, and no smoke coming from the place. You saved me from being ticked off I could have spent my bbq dollars over at UJs instead.

Stopped in Fryday and had a pulled pork sandwedge, garlic fry and coleslaw to go.
Coleslaw was great, hand cut garlic fries were ok and pulled pork was weak. The pulled pork was not nasty, terrible, throw away in garbage cans for racoons to eat later in the night. It just did not have much flavor or taste itself after I tried to wipe off some of the sauce and taste the meat. If this sammy did not have sauce on it the racoons would of got it for sure.

No smoke smell or taste in the meat at all, it did come with some sauce on the pork that woke it up a bit but still lacked smoke, spice and that porky taste.
They do the cooking for this joint off site, landlord will not allow a pit in house I was told. Problem #1.

I will have to call her next week and give her some honest feedback of what I thought of the lunch.
On the menu it says "we aim to please.....if you got some thin' to say, good or bad let us know. We cant fix it if we don't know it's broke!!"
The lady working said let us know how you like it and I said ok...will let ya know.
