    Your croissants look great, Bill. That's the recipe I use, too, and I really love it.

    Thank you, tgoddess. Those macarons look amazing!!!!!!! I have long admired them from afar. Perhaps I should give them a try as Xmas gifts. I was thinking of canelé. Perhaps both!

    Oven dried Kale with EVOO and sea salt
    Stems removed, oiled and salted then oven dried for 20 min at 225˚ convection
    super easy and really tasty snack

    Was the kale crunchy? Your picture, and its probably your superior photography skills, make it look like fresh green kale. I've made baked crisp kale any number of times and it never looks so vibrant. I might be over cooking.

    Crunchy to the point of making a mess if you miss your mouth.
    Think shattering little flecks of green all down your shirt...
    Color got a bit darker on account of the oil (I think)
    I forgot to add that the Kale was baked on racks over jelly roll pans

    I was just informed by my friend's 4 year old that, in fact, I am THE BEST pancake maker in the world. All the rest of you can stand in my shadow!!!!!!

    A little dessert "menage et trois" (chocolate/orange/pistachio) for my dinner party last night.

    Dark chocolate cups filled with pistachio mousse and garnished with candied orange peel
    Chocolate/orange mousse with chopped pistachios
    Pistachio fudge cake layered with orange cream.

    I thought this was a roof top smoker party area....Not....thinks its something for a pool or something, taken near a school, no sign of smoke or hickory in the air :lol: :D
