Post #1 - June 21st, 2005, 2:42 pmWhen I lived in Chicago 8 years ago the Ritz was attached to Water Tower Place. Now on the Ritz' website it indicates they no longer have a hotel in Chicago, or Illinois for that matter. Anyone know what happened?

The Ritz went bankrupt, and was acquired by the Four Seasons group. It still goes under the Ritz Carlton name, but has no official association with any other Ritz's. I know it's confusing, but then, aren't alot of things in the world confusing?
