Oh, I wonder if this means Heritage Dr. Pepper is back in Indiana. Anyone seen it?

I'll check. Where was it available?

They won't have it..
In areas where the local Pepsi distributor also distributes Dr. Pepper, Heritage Dr. Pepper is rolled out to be co-marketed with the Throwbacks. In areas where the local Coke distributor distributes Dr. Pepper, they got retro styled "Dr. Pepper Made with Real Sugar" for the 125th anniversary this summer.
Sadly, Dr. Pepper is distributed by Dr. Pepper Snapple Group in the Chicago area, so we don't get either of them

I'm very curious to see whether Coca Cola sees the writing on the wall and starts testing their own "retro" variants.
One thing to note: Pepsi and Dr Pepper's retro varieties are using inverted sugar syrup. I think, but am not sure, that this process is different from how Dublin/Temple Dr. Pepper is made. Anyone know any more?

Mexi-Coke is pretty ubiquitous now, so it's effectively "throwback" Coke.
