Well, Mardi Gras time has crept up, and I say Laissez les Bon Temps Roullez!
We had so much fun at our first meeting, I think we should do this again!
I am proposing the Mardi-Gras friendly date of Sat March 5
from 1-5 or whenever (so those who need to party later into the night can)
My place is in the Northern suburb of Deerfield, very close to the Deerfield Road exit of either the Edens or 294.
I'll be PM'ing address and directions on Thursday night.
I am also only 1/2 mile from the Deerfield Metra station,
and if neccessary we could organize a commuter run....
I am going to cap attendance at 20ish-
Bring something Cajun, creole, or southern.
I'm thinkin I'll do Gumbo.
I hit up Binnys and found an amazing assortment of interesting Mardi Gras and Louisiana beers...
I'll even "throw" in some beads!
It also sounds like we will have a live trio of Cajun and Irish music to enjoy while we eat and socialize ....
