Hi. I'd like to take my daughter for afternoon tea around the holidays. We usually go downtown but she wants to stick closer to home (Batavia) this year. Atwater at the Herrington has really weird hours. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Tea Gschwendner in the Algonquin Commons is pretty much open all day. They have a HUGE variety available to drink on-site or to purchase to go. Probably about a 35 minute drive from Batavia, so I'm not sure how "local" you would consider it.

Just saw an ad today that Little Traveler in Geneva is now going to have afternoon tea on Thursdays and Saturdays from 2 until 4:30. Tea appropriate sandwiches, chicken curry, smoked salmon, sweets and scones will be available to have with a selection of teas.
