Bacon Fest Recipe Submission

Encouraged by the positive response at the Hideout's Soup Night, I entered my recipe for Spicy Bacon and Tomato soup into the Baconfest Nueske Bacon recipe challenge. Wow--didn't even see this--they just said that people would comment and that the judges pick the winners...interesting. thanks Kenny!!

And that bizarre comment was from a friend actually...go figure.

In case it's confusing to anyone else (it was to me), you can apparently vote now for who you want to be selected to enter the contest at Baconfest!!!

Apparently, there's a glitch with the link so that users of Internet Explorer 8 can't see it without enabling Compatibility View--other options are to use a different browser (chrome, foxfire, safari, etc.). Kind of a bummer but if you tried to vote before and couldn't, you could give it another shot with the above suggestions to assist. I'm definitely lagging behind a bit so any help would be appreciated!

thanks Janeyb and everyone who voted! I finished in the top 10 in votes--now we have to see who the committee selects (voting was only one factor in their selection decision).
