It's slim pickings around my office in Naperville for taco places.
When I saw a sign for a place called Super Taco in a dumpy looking building next to a tabacco shop, I hoped to have hit paydirt.
My first visit was a couple of months ago. Not great. Went with a wide variety to see how they were since they were cheap ($1.50). Asada was meh, cabeza was decent but too mushy, chorizo was dry and flavorless and pastor was a joke. It was the type of pastor that gives pastor a bad name. The over-seasoned, not cooked on a trompo, mush that sucks.
They had some other interesting things on the menu like Pambazos so I figured I would give them one more shot. I went for lunch today, ordered a pambazo that comes with the standard chorizo and potato as well as a pork tamale.
The pambazo arrived and looked pretty good. It wasn't swimming in sauce, but I've seen pictures of them that look like this before.

Then I opened it up and saw what was inside. Rather than the expected cubed potatoes it was little pieces of chopped up french fries. Tons of crappy chopped up lettuce and a thick layer of mayo. Quite disappointed.

The tamale was pretty dry as well.
About the best thing I can say about the place is the prices are cheap, but the quality is lacking. I'm done with the place.
