I recently enjoyed a terrific dinner here. We started with baked shrimp with Gorgonzola cheese. Very fresh shrimp in a tasty sauce. Next up were a variety of empanadas. A crisp shell contained a flavorful blend of ham and cheese. A recent post on Argentinian pizza prompted our next order for Fugazetta Rellena, a bared crust topped with ham, onion, tomato and mozzarella. I only had pizza once in Argentina so I can't comment on the authenticity, but it certainly was delicious. The final course was a Parilla containing sweetbreads, Argentinian chorizo, blood sausage, short ribs, flap meat and grilled peppers. I've had blood sausage a number of times before, but this version was my favorite. Tasty sweetbreads were a pleasant surprise, and the beef had great flavor and chew. Top notch chimihcurri sauce was a great complement to the meat. The restaurant is currently BYO.
