Does anyone out there have a good recommendation on some recipe organization software. I have a really old DOS based software program that I would like to update.

Something that has recipes already in it, with the ability to add a bunch of my own.

It's not perfect (e.g. requires internet connection), but the My Recipebox feature at Epicurious.com allows you to tag recipes from their collections (Gourmet, Bon Appetit), add your own recipes, and then seach/sort on a number of different variables.

I've been using Mastercook with great success. It's around $20 wherever software is sold.

Now Your Cooking is well liked by many people. I don't use it only because I just copy recipes into a word document. If I was going to use one this would be it.

I'm using CookWare Deluxe. It's available for both MacOS and Windows and costs around $25.

    Here's a link

    Hello!

Iam seeking a freeware recipe program that will allow me to email recipes using Gmail.

I tried Recipe Center 5.2 but can not seem to get it to email.. It just says its too busy..

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

I used to use MasterCook and switched a few years ago to Now You're Cooking. Great program, easy to use and modestly priced.
