Please join us to honor this year's GNR Award recipients and celebrate at a special dinner at 6:00 pm on Monday April 11 at Sun Wah BBQ:

Cocktail Hour from 6-7 pm
Cash Bar
Beijing Duckwiches
BBQ Duck Wings
BBQ w/ Wonton
(appetizers are included in the price of the dinner)
Dinner and Awards Presentation beginning at 7:15 pm (served buffet and family-style)
"Mystery" Soup
BBQ Pig w/ Cold Cut Platter
Pan Seared Tofu Stewed w/ Garlic & Bean Sauce (meatless)
Hakka Tofu Casserole
Minced Fish Nuggets w/ Iceberg Lettuce
Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls (meatless)
Pan Seared Sole Fillet
Pork Belly Stewed w/ Jicama
Mike's Fried Chicken
Stir Fried Bean Thread Noodles (meatless)

Awardees and their nominators will have the right of first refusal on spaces but we have good capacity for this event and should be able to accomodate all requests. Still, tickets will be sold on a first-come, first served basis, so if you are interested in attending, please follow these instructions:
If you'd like to attend the dinner, please post here with the number of people in your party (up to 4). You need not worry about procuring tickets for your nominee, as we will contact all the awardees directly (and if you'd like to let them know the news, that'd be great). Shortly after you post here, we'll send you a PM containing detailed sign-up information and instructions on how to purchase your tickets. Links to our ticket sales site will be sent out in the order in which those requesting tickets have posted on this thread. Your reservations will be confirmed once you pay for your tickets at EventBrite.com, using the link that will be sent to you via PM. Once your tickets are purchased, we will add your name(s) to the 'official' list of attendees, which will be maintained on this thread. Ticket sales will close promptly at 2 pm CT on Friday April 8 so that we can give our hosts at Sun Wah a firm head count with adequate lead time.
The cost is $35 per person, all inclusive (plus a small service fee charged by EventBrite.com). This price includes Cocktail Hour appetizers, the meal, soft drinks and tea with the meal, tax and gratuity. Beverages during the Cocktail Hour are not included in this price. BYO is also permitted throughout the entire evening. Each attendee will also receive the newly-revamped 2011 GNR Pocket Guide (snazzily updated by turkob and stevez) and the official 2011 GNR Poster (lovingly compiled by stevez).
Whether you have nominated a restaurant/resource or not, if you want to attend the dinner, please post here indicating so, just so we have a better idea of what kind of attendance to expect. We expect to be able to honor all ticket requests but just in case we hit capacity, once awardees' and successful nominators' are taken care of, the remaining ticket requests will fulfilled in the order in which they are made on this thread. To recap, everyone queues up here, successful nominators will have their orders filled first, everyone else gets their orders filled in the order in which they've posted here. Awardees will be contacted directly.
