I went to the Clubhouse in Oakbrook yesterday for brunch arriving shortly before ten thirty. I am not fond of brunches but the people I was with wanted to go.
I post this because there are folks looking for brunches in the western burbs and may find this info of use. I would return to this brunch even though I prefer ordering one thing off a menu.

The brunch is pricey but food is of a higher quality than usual and it did not have the "screaming kids, masses of people" atmosphere. Brunch price was thirty dollars per person with reduced rates for kids.

They had peel and eat shrimp, fresh oysters, good crab claws not those skinny legs, and salmon as well as prime rib and custom omelets. Hot and cold pastas and very good banana french toast. The usual sweet table which I find too sweet and gummy usually. Chocolate fountain with strawberries, etc.

Valet parking at the door and good chairs and bathrooms. Good service.

They are also having an Easter brunch which is probably going to be crowded.
