17th/Harlem

Going in early June to Waldheim Cemetery, Harlem/17th, North Riverside. Will have a group of about 15-20 family, for a cheery grave unveiling. Looking for someplace for coffee/and after-- will be finished there about 230pm...

Somewhere we can reserve a big table if not a small room ahead, that might be serving off the menu if someone did want to eat something. Not too far from that general area as people will split up after and head back in almost literally every direction.

Thanks...thats me the op on that thread! We went to Czech Plaza and had a nice time. This time the group won't get there til about 245 or 300, so not sure what kind of menu for desserts they would have if people don't want to actually eat.

So-- Riverside Restaurant possibly a better bet?
Still looking for other ideas tho for all purpose places in the area. Or not too far north.

Mother's Day on Cermak in North Riverside, Sawa's Old Warsaw in Broadview, Molly McGuire's in Forest Park, Czech Plaza in Berwyn. All are within close vicinity.

Might try the Fitzgerald's Wishbone combo on Roosevelt in Berwyn. Fitzgerald's has small rooms and I think Wishbone will accommodate with food.

In addition to the Riverside Restaurant, there's Connie's on Harlem and Stanley, just north of the Burlington Northern tracks.
