I am pretty excited about this, Geno Bahena's (Real Tenochtitlan, Los Moles, Delicioso & Sabroso, Chilpancingo, Ixcapuzalco) new place in Logan Square. Apparently its BYOB, and I think I read somewhere there will be outdoor seating. It was suppose to open last Friday. We plan to go next week -- has anyone been there yet?

I walked by on Saturday night and it was indeed open. There's a big open kitchen in the back, though the overall size and decor are more humble than most of "Bahena's" other ventures. One should always clarify when describing something as "Geno Bahena's". In all likelihood, Bahena was hired to consult here about startup and menu creation, and will be out the door quickly as he has in all of his recent ventures.

I went by on Sunday and was told Bahena's term with the restaurant had already ended, and he's moved on to his next venture, a restaurant specializing in moles.
