If it were just over the border, it would be a weekend option. Green Bay? A road trip I am not likely to take anytime soon.

Perhaps it will be close to Door County: Fish Boil and Old Potatoes is a pretty potent combination.

    715-757-3741 or

No kidding! Crivitz appears to be a mere 15 miles from the U.P. border.

I go on an annual weekend with a group of friends to Crivitz. This could make the trip that much more appealing next year!!

My inlaws and husband have talked for years about the family cottage in Crivitz they used to own. It's been like a mythical fake place to me all this time-- stories of the crazy stuff that went on at Crivitz. So not only is it a real place but they'll have at least one awesome place to eat! (no Crivitz-dis intended!)

Crivitz sounds like something Patty might serve. I'd like a plate of crivitz and an egg over easy.

I prefer the Old Crivitz, extra crispy.

Crivitz is also home to the national (international?) hog wrestling championships in mid-late July. This event is even more fun than it sounds. Maybe Patty can pick up some of the former participants in their afterlife for ham hash or other breakfast treats.

The GP and Mr X have been going to Crivitz for years. Around 20 friends have been making a trek to the Shaffer Park Motels and Supper Club to white water rafting, golfing shopping and just drinking around a camp fire. It is completely off the beaten path. I think the largest industry is logging. The GP and I will definitely look Patty up the next time we are in Crivitz!

A friend in Crivitz told me that Patty's been talking about closing the place in a couple of months if business doesn't pick up. :(

    I'm headed over there today!!!!

    hi,

How long has she been working up there?

If she had just gone over the border to Kenosha, there would be a following. To go to Crivitz, it takes a long time to develop a new pool of admirers.

This information is straight of Patty's mouth... I spoke to her personally on her cell phone... followed by a call with Margaret who's husband Robert (bobby) is going to be in business with her.

Suzy is with her cleaning the kitchen so they can open this weekend as the fishermen (people) are gonna be there...

    Hello,
I am a new employee at the Peshtigo River Resort. I found this site while researching my new employers - What a Great Site! :-) Loved learning on here, what I immediately had recognized - Patty is an Awesome Cook! The ladies have become fast friends and I am excited about sharing with others (locals) how fortunate we are that they chose our area to settle.
I thought some might be interested in keeping in touch with Patty and the staff - we started a FB page - Peshtigo River Resort/Supper Club - Check out the Beauty of the place and lots of other info.
If you ever get to the Crivitz area - Come on in !
    Enjoy Your Day,
    Bobbi

side note: Perfect timing finding this site. My friend and I will be staying in your town next week - Choosing our dining from here.
