Wine Stores with young Italian/Spanish varietal whites-

What Chicagoland stores carry current vintages of lesser known Italian and Spanish white varietals?

Italy and Spain have dozens of wonderful white varietals that are hard to find. When they are available, many stores have older vintages that are past their prime. One owner told me to ignore his selection of 2007 vintages. I appreciated his honesty.

Any suggestions?

Que Syrah on Southport has a nice selection of both. The store is small so they are selective about what they stock and the owner, Don, is particularly knowledgeable about Italian and Spanish and willing to order pretty much anything, even single bottles. Worth a stop in. They are across the street from the Music Box Theater.
