My wife and I will be going to the Finger Lakes region of NY in a couple of weeks, and I wanted to see if anybody has any good wineries that they can recommend. I already have a couple of places noted, but just wanted to see if anybody knows of any wines in the region ( esp. Cab Franc ) that shouldn't be missed.

Have a good time. You can't go wrong with the riesling anywhere in the Finger Lakes.

Post #4 - June 17th, 2011, 5:38 pmI did try a search, but didn't really find much information dedicated to wine. I'm not that into the fine dining scene, and the focus of this trip for both my wife and I is the wine and the scenery. We're going to be staying in Watkins Glen, and plan on hiking and/or biking on some of the nearby trails, as well as visiting some wineries.
