Has anyone made a Jamaican "Granny sauce" from scratch? I plan on making some jerk soon, and can't imagine it without a granny sauce (kind of a cross between a barbecue and hot sauce), a la 3 Dives or Ossie's in Negril. I get the sense that there's probably a lot of different ingredients, most of which are probably secret, as only a good Granny would have, but any guidance would help.
