Post #1 - July 5th, 2011, 11:34 amNow that I'm retired, I and my wife, daughter, and sister from Wisconsin want to go out occasionally with my 92 year old Mother for lunch around Prospect Heights (Mom's town) that have either outdoor seating or bright, open-air or windowed seating with a pleasant view. The last time we went out for lunch we went to Jameson's Charhouse which is the antithesis of this, being indoors with no windows at all. We talked about going to Bill's Pizza in Mundelein next because we love rustic too, but I think that's too dark too.

Post #3 - July 5th, 2011, 2:27 pmJamesons Charhouse in Bloomingdale has a nice outdoor patio. For more casual pub fare, Moretti's in Edison Park has an expansive outdoor seating area. It does have more of a bar feeel than a restaurant feel.
