about 4 blocks east... Armitage and Clybourn - Mitchells Restaurant.
and about a mile west... Gerties Ice Cream Parlor at Armitage and Western
And at all the above intersections there are other choices all reasonable

Post #10 - July 20th, 2011, 4:21 pmPequod's is at Webster and Clybourn (so about half a mile away) and is great. If you need it fast, I'd recommend calling in a dine-in order ahead of time.

Post #12 - July 20th, 2011, 10:53 pmNick's Pit Stop on Damen just north of Armitage is cheap, informal, and kid-friendly. Interesting? I guess not, but their chicken is pretty damn tasty. Their Albany Park outpost has not gotten glowing reviews here, but this original location has been consistently delivering quality chicken for well over a decade now. And there are always cops eating there, for whatever that's worth.
