Not sure how the prices compare to Amazon. But I am sure that in some (most?) cases, Amazon will be cheaper! Especially with free shipping!

Update: Looks like the only books cheaper than Amazon are The Hungoevr Cookbook and Larousse Gastronomique!

A couple of these prices are pretty good. A handful of these caught my eye, so I checked Amazon.com (comparing hardcover to hardcover):

Larousse Gastronomique: a steal on Fab.com. $53.55 on Amazon.
Meat: not so great. $23.10 on Amazon.
Cooking: not so great: $26.40 on Amazon.
The Complete Robuchon: not so great. $24.75 on Amazon.
Ideas In Food: not so great. $16.45 on Amazon.
'wichcraft: not so great. $18.15 on Amazon.
Speakeasy: barely edged out. $16.49 on Amazon.
The Hungoevr [sic] Cookbook: good price. $8 on Amazon. Hey, a buck is a buck.

The Larousse price is so good, I'm definitely going to pick that one up. The Hungoevr Cookbook could be amusing, but will depend on shipping cost.
