There are only a few events each year that I really look forward to and the date sticks in my otherwise disorganized mind. The LTHforum picnic is among the very top of these events.

I'll be there with one other, I think. Shared dish TBD but I have a few ideas.

Thanks in advance to all those who make this possible.

    Hi,

Just me this year. I'll be bringing desserts: Lomonaco Sicilian Cookies and leaning toward a s'more tart, as long as it's not too hot to melt it.

    Thanks

I'll bring my jumper cables in case your car radio drains your car battery.

This service was already provided once to Ramon at the first picnic.

We'll also be bringing the girls so they can meet everyone. They'll be bringing their own baby food, however ;)

I wouldn't miss one of these for the world. I'll be there with an ungodly amount of food, because I just cant' stop myself from cooking when i get excited.

Count me in for a +1 (Teresa). I'm going to require any of my friends who are mostly lurkers to RSVP on their own this year, lesson learned.

    I'll bring:
    22.5" WSM

Our permit allows up to 350, which is the capacity of the grove.

Cook County Forest Preserve permits become more complicated and expensive once you are at 400 or more. Rental toilets and guarantees on security are just the beginning ...

Dessert, not salad bar. But now you've got me thinking about a bruschetta bar w/ accoutrements to capture the last bit of tomato season.

I will be there. It's in the 'wouldn't miss it for the world' category for me.

Will be making/bringing a Bavarian cheese torte, either plum or apple.

    And ice.

And would be willing to contribute to the costs of a keg of fine ale [or bitter, or porter, or stout, or barley wine, or . . . ] if one of you fine gentlemen with keg-tapping knowledge will be bringing one.
