    How can there not be a dedicated grilled cheese thread? This was the closest I could find, but maybe I'm missing it.

    Lavash from Argo Georgian Bakery makes a great grilled cheese (though it's a little tough to slice lengthwise): with grated piave, sheeps milk blue from Graziano's and a little fig jam, then toasted in a cast iron skillet (with a piece of parchment and a filled tea kettle on top to serve as a press). Served with a tomato salad--delicious!

    That looks beautiful! Alas, I just skimmed your text & mistakenly thought I could buy both dishes at Argo. Bait & switch... ;) Will you come over to make one for me?

    LaBriola Asiago Peppercorn bread with honey mustard, carmelized onions and a mixture of gruyere and aged cheddar (served with pan fried apples and figs topped with goat cheese).
