It's been a while since I organized a lunch at GNR Khan BBQ. I've been wanting to eat there for a while, but thought it was culturally insensitive to schedule such an event during Ramadan. Now that the holiday has passed, I'm looking at next Tuesday, 9/13/11 at 12:00 noon for a feast. I'm going to limit attendance to 8 people. Please respond here if you would like to join us. It should be a great meal.

    Hi,

I saw Mr. Khan during Ramadan. He inquired why nobody had visited recently. He will be pleased to see everyone once more.

I wanted to givethis thread a bump. We've still got 4 spots left for Tuesday.

I plan on being there. I can work from home that day (and home is only 3 blocks away from Khan's).

Count me in as well. I currently have a 1:30 meeting, but I have asked to switch that meeting to 3:00 p.m. I should know at any time. I've been missing Khan's - Pakistani food just doesn't match up in the Bay Area.

Great food, great company, great lunch! Thanks for organizing, Steve. Your ordering was spot-on as well.
The only downside was a lunch like that made it very difficult to return to the work of analyzing a bunch of market data--zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... (We need an icon for head on desk, sound asleep!)
