    asian bistro
    i have been wanting to stop at chinn chinn for about a year or so .
    finally made it .
    had a group of 5 ,got there about 530 pm.
    started with some appetizers
    rangoon,pot stickers,garlic noodles(all great items)
    buzz & son phil had albacore tuna steak, side salad,rice,wasabi.
    sven had kobi steak &fries,for got what svens guest had?
    i had chili prawns,rice,pineapple

    and for a marcapone blueberry/strawberry cake.
    when we where done the line was out the door.
    outstanding meal :mrgreen:

    i will be back for sure. it is worth the 2 hour ride.

    sooo glad to see this post. My brother is the chef/owner of Chinn Chinn and I am desperately trying to get him to open up a small shop here in Chicago.

    outstanding says it best for me , what a great place.
    there was a older chef that came out & we had took pics with.
    i try to stop everytime i am that way. :mrgreen:

    was in mich. past weekend ,made it back to chinn chinn .

    I was wandering around Michigan, Indiana and Illinois this weekend and decided to make the 30-minute or so trek from Benton Harbor to Mattawan to give this place a try. Absolutely worth the drive. Everything on the menu sounded so delicious, and was. All the dishes used the freshest, high-quality ingredients. Man, I can't wait to make it there again.

    If not Chicago he could do much worse than opening in New Buffalo or that area.There are a few restaurant spaces open that could use a tenant line Chinn Chinn.
