Enjoy the World Famous Johnny Walker Whiskey Thursday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m., as Wrigleyville favorite The Irish Oak delights Whiskey connoisseurs with their Signature Bacon and Whiskey tasting featuring the most widely distributed brand of Scotch Whiskey. Each of the Johnnie Walker Whiskeys, including Johnnie Walker Red, Johnnie Walker Black, Johnnie Walker Green, Johnnie Walker Gold and Johnnie Walker Blue, will be paired with a unique Bacon dish. This month, the pairings Bacon Wrapped Dates, Bacon Wrapped Mushrooms, Bacon Layered Potatoes, Bacon Wrapped Poppers and Bacon Infused Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Join Jack’s Bar and Grill and the Lost Coast Brewery of Eureka, CA, on Wednesday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. with a five course dinner, paired with five of the best brews from the Brewing Company. Guests will start with Deviled Eggs with Tarragon, paired with Great White Ale. The second course served, Green Been Casserole, will be paired with Tangerine Wheat. Lost Coast’s Downtown Brown- Nut Brown Ale will be served for the third course with Bacon Mac & Cheese. For the fourth course, Alley Cat Amber Ale will be paired with Cornish Hen, Whipped Potatoes and Cornbread Stuffing. Finally, guests will enjoy Sweet Potato Pie with Marshmallow Cream with 8-Ball Stout.
404 Wine Bar Co. will present their November “Wines Around The World” dinner Thursday, November 17th at 7 p.m. featuring the wines of France. The evening will begin with Escargot vol au Vent with Herb Truffle Butter and Puff Pastry paired with Champalou Brut. The second course is a Country Salad with Frisee, Bacon Lardons and Poached Egg paired with Domaine Valensac Chardonnay. Later, guests can enjoy Raclette, Boiled Potatoes, Charcuterie and Baguette paired with Pascal Bellier Cheverny Red. For the Fourth Course, Steak au Poivre with Melted Leeks, Potato Dauphinoise will be paired with Chateau Du Champ Bordeaux. Finally, for dessert, guests will nosh on Profiteroles of Chocolate Cream with Strawberry Beaujolais Reduction paired with Cambon Beaujolais. This dinner will be $40.
