Haven't seen anyone mention this place, which I believe just opened over the summer. It's located in the South Barrington Arboretum, hidden behind Cooper's Hawk (which may account for the lack of visibility).
My wife and I have been here a few times, and have enjoyed it very much. While their menu system is kind of gimmicky (you can view it on-line), it is nice in that they offer hot, small plate options for those who like to opt for non-sushi items. And I'm not talking teriyaki chicken or steak. One of our favorites is the Scallop Ebisu, which consists of 3 large seared scallops on top of a great saffron cous cous. The yuzu halibut was nice, too. And I personally love the tartare sampler, with different types of tobiko topping each one.
As far as the interior of the restaurant goes, it is large but modestly (tastefully) lit and heavy on booth-seating, which makes the wife happy... And cocktail-wise, they have a wide array of sake and sake-inspired drinks. And Kirin on tap, which tastes much better on draft, IMO.
I haven't taken any pics while there, but the website does have some that look very representative from what I've seen.
