Source for black walnuts, downtown Chicago

I'm starting Christmas baking, and need chopped black walnuts for a couple of recipes. This year, I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I've checked both Jewel and Dominicks on Roosevelt, as well as Whole Foods and Fox & Obel,

anybody have a suggestion on where I can find them (close to downtown, preferably).

Yes, saw them at the one on Clybourn in Chicago.

Go north - I found plenty at Treasure Island in Wilmette, and The Grand Food Center on Green Bay Road in Winnetka. In fact, I am making an applesauce-black walnut bread this very evening.

Hammon's Black Walnuts are available online. Hammon's has an interesting business. They apparently receive nuts from folks who forage, especially folks in the Ozarks. You can order shelled and in-shell black walnuts from the website as well as black walnut oil and other products made with black walnuts. I'd like to try one of their cakes for the holidays. Hammon's black walnuts are also readily available in stores around the St. Louis area. (I found them at Local Harvest Market.}
