Post #1 - December 2nd, 2011, 1:03 amI've found a source for truly free-range German Empden and French Toulouse geese from a low-impact sustainable family farm in Gasconade County Missouri. They are available frozen direct from the farm for around $10/lb. plus shipping. In the St. Louis area, they can be purchased at the same price at Straub's Market (minus the shipping.) The average bird is 9-10 lbs.
