Of the 13 restaurants we tried during the “pho-tastic adventure”, Nha Hang was serving up the richest, largest portions. The staff being so friendly and welcoming, I felt as if I were being served by family. After Sweetbread’s glowing review following shortly after mine, I can’t help but wonder why the place seems to be so empty most of the time, perhaps because it’s so new.

I have no other choice but to schedule an LTH meet-up to help spread the good word!

Attendance limit: first 12 people to reply
Please RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 13th at Noon. I’d like to call to make a reservation by then.

WOO HOO, a full party already! Thanks to everyone for signing up! If there anymore who wish to be added to the waiting list, go ahead and post here. Since it filled up so fast I'll go ahead and drop by the restaurant very soon to talk to them about the group visit and the menu. If the staff thinks it's a good idea, I may even expand it to accommodate a few more. Seeing as how they're typically pretty slow mid-week, hopefully they will be interested in a big group.

On that note, I'm the first to admit that I'm quite a noob when it comes to Vietnamese food. Please anyone feel free to PM me with Vietnamese dishes which may be of interest for the menu. This will be the first big meal here for any of us (i'm assuming), so as the title implies, help me find the winning dishes on the menu!

I'll start the waiting list here. Will let you know if it seems logical to add more to the party, after I suss out the situation. I'll find out if they seem confident or uncomfortable preparing a meal for a huge crowd or not.

    Hey guys,

Petite_gourmande and I stopped by on Friday to talk to the staff and give them a heads up on the meal. We set up a few dishes, but for the most part wanted to keep it open to suggestions on the spot. I know a few of you probably have favorites and/or dishes you may want to use as a sort of measure of comparison.

Since we gave them a heads up on the group meal, and there is now only one person on the wait list, I'm going to go ahead and make the executive decision to up the number to 13. So, edc, if you're listening and still interested, please let us know, and feel free to make plans if it still fits your schedule!

    See you all at 6:30!

    Hi,

This is a post of a prior visit to the same location visited this evening: Strong Meats for Soft Drinks. I see it is a post with links I need to find the new urls for.

    Regards,
