On Friday January 27th my wife and I are having our annual Chinese New Year party for a bunch of 30 something friends. We would love to wrap and serve a variety of homemade dumplings during the party. I attempted this last year but ultimately my skills were just not up to the challenge.

Two options this year: #1 - Take a serious Chinese dumpling making class either with a group or one one one or #2 - Hire a dumpling master to lead the charge at the party. Either option is fine.

Anyone know of a great class, teacher or hired gun willing to train me in advance or rock dumplings at the party? If it's the latter route, we live in Wicker Park and will pay $150 for three hours of time. We'll also cover all the ingredients and equipment of course. We've hired folks to help at parties in the past and can provide references vouching for us not being jerks :)

If you prefer to email me directly, my name is Andrew and I'm at ableiman at gmail dot com

    Hi,

You might want to contact the people involved with this Chinese New Year celebration and dumpling making program.
