50th birthday dinner

Mom is insisting on taking out the whole clan (all 11 of us Lol) which includes extremely well traveled 7 year olds who eat more adventurously than I do, and a picky 15 year old who eats plain pasta almost exclusively.

We'd like to find somewhere that has opened in the last ten years say....neednt be fancy but maybe nicer than a burger spot. Price isn't a huge issue, more important to have lots to choose from, maybe share, and a round table would be ideal.

Cafe spiaggia is actually a very good suggestion...just was hoping for someplace a little newer, mom has latched onto Paris Club.

Location pretty much city from downtown --->>> north. Not really interested in Chinatown, greektown, little Italy. Randolph st, south loop, etc would be fine.
