Cold weather, time for comfort food. What could be better than the traditional creperie & cafe?

    La France Café and Crêpes
939 South Main Street, Lombard, IL 60148

7 of us so far, but Ben says he can fit up to 20. Interested?

Probably will be a fixed menu, including French Onion Soup, Croque Monsieur/Madame, and a sampling of sweet and savory crepes. It is BYO, aside from coffee, tea and soft drinks. Hard cider and White Burgundy pair well...

Will post more details on menu and price shortly. Please join us - this place is great.

Putting the finishing touches on the menu, which I will post tomorrow. Looks like we have 8 which will work well.

    La Carte:

    Soupe a l'oignon
    Croque Monsieur, a partager

    Salade

Four savories crepes, au choix du chef (there will be more than one of each, most probably, depending on the number of attendees.)

Dessert crepes, as we like it.

total price most likely $25pp or so, plus tip and tax.

La France is byo, so unless you want coffee, tea, or soft drinks, bring your own.

Attendees (so far here is everyone that has not canceled...)

    dickson
    fox
    james w
    bean
    mhl
    panther

I will confirm numbers with Ben in the morning, so please let me know tonight.

The ratatouille crepe is really good there. The mint tea is loaded with sugar. Everything else was good. Chef is a bit eccentric and colorful. Very entertaining. Post pics if you can.
