    Hi,

I will be making Egyptian ful with edamame instead of fava beans.

I can make this over rice, which would make it convenient for those who freeze and eat later. If I sent along a pita bread, they don't freeze well.

If someone prefers ful without rice, let me know.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

hi all--i have some family business tomorrow that will prevent me from cooking tonight/tomorrow so I'm dropping out of the exchange part of the evening. If there is a waiting list for dinner spots, I will give mine up since there is at least a 50/50 chance that I won't be able to make it. If no one wants the spot and I can get away, I'll still join you--but no problem if anyone who has been wanting to try Kabul House would like to go--I've been several times (and it's terrific!!)

    HI,

For those who made their nine portions, bring them anyway. We can trade amongst each other.

    Regards,

Shoot, I had today off and would have been all over cooking for the exchange.

nr706/group -- I'm not sure if anything has been preordered with the restaurant, but I've been leaning more to the vegetable side of the world lately and would appreciate some non-meat options.

    Looking forward to seeing everyone!

    HI,

I made a hybrid of these two recipes:

    Moroccan ful tom sauce

    Egyptian edamame stew

I made Basmati rice which I stuck on one corner.

    No mushrooms. :D

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Nothing's been pre-ordered; they're usually pretty well stocked with whatever's on the menu..

    The GP,

If you bring an empty container, I will give you my extra ful. If you are leaning toward vegetariian, this is of interest to you.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Hi all--I can make it to the dinner tonight if my spot is still available (it appears to be)--again, sorry for the last minute cancellation on cooking.

    HI,

Thanks for all the chili this evening. Mom, Dad and I will have a little chili taste off in the near future.

Of course, thanks for all the other treats as well.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

    Hi all,

I have had several requests to delay the scheduling of Nha Hang for SHFE to April due to scheduling conflicts...is there another spot that everyone would like to try in March? I've never been to Sunshine Cafe and didn't know if that might be of interest...Does someone else want to take this month and I'll organize April? Happy to do go with group consensus!

Sunshine Cafe would be a great venue, but I'll let someone else organize.

I'm so sorry, I've been on vacation so I didn't see this til today. I can surely organize the next thing if no one else has. But I saw there was a post for March? Please let me know where we stand with things.
