Post #1 - March 28th, 2012, 7:40 pmAlmost never post, but HAD to tell someone. Been "stranded" down here for almost a year from the NW side(Montrose & Pulaski). Mom retired down here & recently died.
So anyway, I just had the most amazing shrimp ever. $5 for 1-1/2# of fresh gulf shrimp from a charming man, parked in the ditch, in front of the Murphy gas station. Berled dem wit some Zatarain's shrimp berl(dat's how it's said here) & added garlic bread & I am in heaven. omg. I may see if he's there again tomorrow.
