Mea Culpa - I had mentioned this as a destination place in a couple of threads due to the fact that there were great (incredible) deals on surplus equipment from the "Taste of Home" (Reinmann publications) and the outfit that bought them - Reader's Digest.
My first trip there a couple of women so overbought that they could not fit their purchases into their car. I had a truck at the time and I had picked up $120 worth of cookbooks at $2.50 to $5 a pop. I had to help the ladies to their homes with their purchases. My wife loved the place due to their clothing. I had bought $25 convection/ir tabletop ovens there as xmas gifts when the cheapest you could find them were $125 on the net. That gives you an idea about great the place used to be.
Nothing remains other than the test kitchen and very little (now expensive) cookware and a monthly $5 cookbook. It is now the "greenfield welcome center" and IMHO, no longer worth a trip to.
