Easter help

For the first time, no children will be in our home as they are are out in the academic world achieving.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for a place to go to eat on Easter. We were thinking of going to Botanic Garden so something Northwards would be good, but any location will be considered, as long as the atmosphere is good and the food, of course, is good.

GNR Prairie Grass Cafe is having an Easter Brunch that looks pretty good. It's certainly close to the Botanic Garden.

Here's where we're going for Easter brunch. Historic building, good food, not much LTH love.

Seeing this thread is regarding Easter help, I figured I would post a Easter dessert question. I am responsible for bringing the dessert obviously (hence why i am asking). Anything new out there as far as desserts go? My typical go to is Hoosier Mama. But with all these new shops opening, I thought I might try something different. Bang Bang? Magnolia? Can be anything really, just need to feed approx 6-10 peeps.

I will second nr706's love for Deer Path Inn. It's a very old money, North Shore kind of place, and the small rooms make it tad hard to get around people at times. But boy, the food is top notch. When they say 'fresh seafood is almost overwhelming', it's true. Better quality & inventive selections overall than any brunch in the area. I think the normal price for Sundays is $39, and it's worth every penny. Special occasion destination for sure, but we hit there a couple times a year & have never been disappointed.

I got married there, and everyone raved about the food-
we still love going there, if only for the little walk down memory lane.
