O'Hare-accessible spicy Chinese or Korean

My brother is coming in to O'Hare an evening this weekend, and is jonesing for spicy, meat-full Chinese or Korean. His specific request was actually hot pot, but I think that can be conceded.

Anyplace North would really be fine; the only thing I don't think we'll have time for is going all the way to Chinatown and back. On the Korean front I think Arirang or Cho Jung might make the cut. Any recommendations for chili-oil-rich Chinese or Korean (or even Vietnamese, was eyeing the goat hot pot at Tank) roughly accessible to the Northwest Side? Many thanks!

In fact, both the broths (with handfuls of fresh spices, from cardamom to Szechuan peppercorns) and the Szechuan string beans we ordered were better showings than any corresponding examples I've had in Chinatown, and the service was charming. Just the fuel we needed to cook Tejano for 20+ the next day at home.
